University of Tasmania is seeking to appoint an Agricultural Systems Modeller in the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture which is part of the College of Sciences and Engineering.

The role involves leading or participating in research to model crop and livestock production systems. These research activities will assist the agricultural and food sectors in Tasmania in making complex decisions actionable, especially on-farm decisions related to climate change and carbon neutrality. The role will involve the teaching of modelling to undergraduates and postgraduates in relevant units.
